What to expect in 2005

I don't like resolutions. I like goals. And I'm big on setting goals and expectations for myself at the turn of the new year.

Expect big things from the Billy Riggs Band in 2005. My creative juices are flowing once again, and I have had more ideas than ever over the past month. My biggest challenge is finding time to capitalize on all of these ideas. I have about 8 solid songs waiting to be recorded right now, and the ideas keep rolling.

Some things to keep in mind that we'll be pushing towards:

• More tunes and collaboration with Gabe Riggs, Chicago artist Raul Esparza and Cleveland producer Ryan Lott


• Midyear release of a new CD - current working title "retrospect"


• More acoustic shows playing out and getting the BRB more exposure


• Interesting and creative marketing tie-ins and opportunities for you to become involved with every aspect of the BRB.
